Porcelain Veneers
What are Porcelain Veneers?
Porcelain veneers can be used to cover imperfections and minor flaws at the front of your smile. They are made out of thin pieces of porcelain and are attached to your natural teeth. They can last for longer than 10 years before needing full replacement. Veneers can fully transform your smile without the invasive work that other procedures would require.
Why are Porcelain Veneers needed?
Porcelain veneers can be used to cover an unsightly and embarrassing smile. The procedure to place them is easy, quick and relatively noninvasive. Some of the flaws that your new veneers can cover include:
- Stains and discoloration
- Gaps and spaces between teeth
- Chips, cracks and fractures in front teeth
- Uneven, unsightly teeth
"I’ve came here since I was younger when the office used to be located near the pavilions 9 years ago. The office has treated me really great and have taken good care of me. Awesome staff and great workers!"

Who is a good candidate for Porcelain Veneers?
You might want to have veneers placed before a big event so that you look your absolute best. It’s not uncommon for patients to come in for veneers before a wedding or reunion. Otherwise, you may want or need veneers in order to boost your confidence in the way that your smile looks. We can perform an exam to determine if you’d benefit from veneers. If your front teeth are decayed or need additional work, we’ll recommend having treatment done prior to the veneers being placed.
What happens during the process for Porcelain Veneers?
We first file down the front teeth to make room for the new veneers. Veneers are incredibly thin, but they still need some room to be placed over the tooth to avoid looking bulky. Impressions allow us to carefully craft unique veneers just for you. Your second appointment involves placing the actual veneers. We will adjust the fit and bite to the veneers to ensure they look perfect. You will be amazed at how different your smile looks once the veneers have been placed and adjusted to your needs. Your new veneers can last for about a decade before replacement is recommended.
If you think you might need porcelain veneers, call our office today and we can work to get you in for an appointment.
