Sleep Apnea Treatment
What is Sleep Apnea Treatment?
If you have sleep apnea, you are suffering from consistent short cessations in your breathing each night. Most people with this condition have bouts of loud snoring that can be disruptive both to themselves and their loved ones. We utilize an oral device that helps to treat any and all sleep apnea symptoms. The device works to open the airway so that it is easier for you to breathe throughout the night.
Why is Sleep Apnea Treatment needed?
If you fail to treat your sleep apnea, it can and will eventually get in the way of you living life to the fullest. You may feel exhausted throughout the day and have no energy to spend time with family and friends. It can impact the way that you work and being able to hold down a job. Many medical conditions are even linked to sleep apnea, like heart disease and type two diabetes.
"I’ve came here since I was younger when the office used to be located near the pavilions 9 years ago. The office has treated me really great and have taken good care of me. Awesome staff and great workers!"

Who is a candidate for Sleep Apnea Treatment?
We can examine your mouth and throat as well as go over your sleep study results while you’re in the office. Patients with mild to moderate sleep apnea will benefit the most from this type of treatment. If you’ve been ignoring treatment because of the bulk of having to wear a CPAP machine, we welcome you to try an oral device. Many of our patients have found that the oral device fits similarly to a mouth guard and is much more comfortable to wear.
What happens during Sleep Apnea Treatment?
Impressions are taken to ensure an accurate mold to make your new sleep apnea oral device. You will then come back into the office to have the device fitted. The device fits well when it’s comfortable and working effectively to open your airway. You will need to wear this device every night in order for it to work effectively. We can replace or repair the device if it breaks or shows signs of wear. You will find this device to be helpful in reducing sleep apnea symptoms as well as loud snoring throughout the night.
